The Transall C-160 was designed in the early '60s to replace France's aging fleet of Nord Noratlas transport aircraft. Developed by Aèrospatiale and Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm, the C-160 is powered by twin Rolls-Royce® turboprop engines. Only one accident has ever been reported in over forty years, placing it among history's safest and most reliable aircraft. The C-160 will be replaced by the Airbus A400M, which is currently undergoing initial tests. Kit features highly detailed surfaces, a rotating propeller and decals for a Luftwaffe version and a French Air Force version.
